The Shape is designed for the feet to slide out in case of a fall. This way you don’t tomahawk with your Board under your feet when rolling after a fall. On the other hand they stay under your feet when jumping, grinding or sliding due to the natural pressure your legs and feet apply to them.
they work great on any Board. Take total control and feel the safety of keeping the Board under your feet even in crazy situations. Hold your edge strong, take turns harder and go into your slides with ease. They are super chill to ride anything on PumpTracks and work great on Electric Skateboards. Put them on your little brothers snowboard and hit little spots with your skate shoes on.
You want to stay in your Bindings solid, but keep in mind not to put them too tight (too low). If the Bindings push on your shoes too much, it could happen that your feet will get pushed out of the Bindings while riding, especially when shredding hard or riding rigged pavement. Some Riders like to keep their Bindings at a perfect height of just touching the shoes, but not pushing on them. Some even like half a centimeter space between Binding and Shoes. Best is to keep this in mind and try out different heights of your Freebord S2 Bindings.
