Community Shred 2015 – Now Accepting Submissions!

By July 14, 2015 No Comments

So you may remember the submission based video series we had called Community Shred in 2011. It was based out of the spirit of the original Community Represent series in which Freeborders from all over the globe would submit some un edited footage of themselves riding and hanging out in hopes that it would make the final cut, edited and released by Freebord. It has been a few years now since Community Shred and we felt like it was time to bring it back.

So whether you are a seasoned veteran who has been riding for years, or a someone who just started this summer, go out and ride your hardest and get it on video. It can be footage of whatever you like to shred, country hills, urban streets, skate parks, street spots or anything in between. We want to showcase how versatile and diverse freebording really is.

HOW TO ENTER

  • Ride your freebord while you get filmed or film yourself.
  • Gather 1-3 minutes of raw un-edited footage of you riding, and up to 1 minute of lifestyle or b-roll footage. [ HELMET REQUIRED IN ALL RIDING FOOTAGE, ANY FOOTAGE WITH OUT A HELMET WILL NOT BE USED ]
  • Email VIDEOS@FREEBORD.COM with your name, age, and location and either send us the footage via email, a downloadable link, or put it on a private/downloadable youtube or vimeo account.

*Please do not submit footage filmed vertically on your cell phone.

*If possible, please only submit unreleased footage.

*Any footage with music edited into it will have the audio removed.

After the deadline of 9/1/15 we will compile all of the best clips and moments from the submitted footage and create a montage showcasing the different riders and riding styles worldwide. That leaves you shredders with over a month to stack clips of your sickest stuff and send them in, you don’t want to miss out on being a part of this re-cap of this summers shred.
