After picking up an Alpha 112 and buying a whole bunch of new hardware for it, our buddy Daniel got a rude awakening:

10/3/09  If that order hasn’t gone through please put a stop on it I got the board jacked earlier today. I left the board in my work truck during lunch and some little prick took it. Man if I find the kid that did it hes finished and the bad part was it was at a deli in a business park. So I hope someone saw it.

10/5/09 …one of my friends works at the deli so hes going to keep an eye out for it. I might just keep the parts since one of my best friends bros mountains boards and he has a board really similar to this alpha model that he will give me. For the time being I will probably put the hardware on that.

Can’t fault this guy’s determination to ride… guess he’ll have to settle for a mountainboard… unless…?

10/9/09  Got my freebord back my buddy that works at the deli was out making deliveries and on his way back to work there was a kid riding around on a long board. He went by to check it out and sure enough it was my board. The kid took some convincing since he payed some douche 40 for it haha but after I sent my bud those cell pics, they squared it away and the kid reluctantly gave him the board back.

Man, you sure got some nice friends. Shoulda bribed that kid to tell you who he bought it from!

I just wanted to write you guys and tell you this is the coolest board I have ever bought. I just got my first freebord on monday and I have been riding it as much as possible. I live in NC right on the coast and love snowboarding but I’m at least 6 hours away from any slopes so I don’t get to go a lot but I love that rush. I was a little discouraged when I first tried it because where I live it is flat as hell and with no hills it makes it way harder to learn to ride it. Then I thought about getting my dog to pull me. She loves pulling me and once I got some speed I picked it up right away. You guys are awesome, keep up the good work.

Thanks again,
John

Yeah John, making it happen even in the flats… with a dog that loves pulling Freeborders no less. Sounds like we got ourselves a mascot!

pics plz

We love this shit…

To: info@freebord.com
Subject: Thank You

Dear Freebord,

I had such a great experience I wanted to let you know about it. I think I may have taken the reverse approach than most people; freebording taught me to snowboard rather than visa versa.

After growing up snow skiing my whole life, I got a freebord because I though it looked like a blast and I love to longboard. It took me a while to get the hang of freebording but I got it and have a blast doing it. I’ve been freebording for about 3 years now. For several years I have owned skis so I haven’t wanted to pay to rent a snowboard. I wanted to snowboard just to see if freebording would pay off but I was always skeptical, thinking that there was no way the ride was JUST alike. Well mid December 2008 I was skiing in Colorado and I got my chance. A buddy who was snowboarding wanted to trade for a day. I got on the snowboard and I would say it literally took me 3 turns to be in absolute control. I had never snowboarded before and the ride was identical to freebording. I was amazed and felt like a natural all day thanks to freebord. Not only could I ride a snowboard, but I could explain how it works.

I hope this is an encouragement to you guys and please know that you have an incredible product. Thanks for all the fun you have provided me.

Ned

Ned: You fucking rock dude – keep up the riding and kill it out there on the slopes!
