Contest Rules and Formats:

• Everyone MUST sign a waiver ahead of time AND wear a helmet while competing - NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE
• If you are under 18 and want to compete, you must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver BEFORE you come to the rider awards. No exceptions. Download the waiver here.

Freestyle Ramp Comp.

• Open entry - sign up beforehand Friday night @ Freebord factory
• Each entrant will get 3-5 runs off an 18 inch ramp (depending on number of entrants and time constraints)
• Runs will be scored on style, amplitude and level of difficulty
• Scores will be added up and entrant with highest #s will win
• Winners will be awarded as follows:
  • 1st - set of G3 trucks with yet to be released slasher edge wheels
  • 2nd - new G3 deck
  • 3rd - set of new slasher edge wheels

Downhill Jam

• Open entry - sign up Friday night or Sat morning @ Freebord factory
• Jam will run in 3 heats down Quintara - each heat gets 2 runs
• Runs will be scored on steeziness and mastery of riding
• Judges will hand pick a final heat for one more run
• Winners will be awarded as follows:
  • 1st - 4 sets of yet to be released slasher edge wheels
  • 2nd - new G3 deck
  • 3rd - 1 set of new slasher edge wheels

The Freebord crew rolled out to support Steen last night at the very exclusive Icon Aircraft A5 unveiling party. Complete with three levels of interactive displays, working prototypes, free booze and a mini-burger bar, this party was about as baller as they come. Check the pix:

Just starting to get the hang of it and the Poles are lookin good so far…Eastern Bloc represent!

Sweden had their final Freebord represent event for the season, with the annual DUDE RUN last weekend (don’t ask why it’s called that). This two day event drew 20-30 riders from all across Sweden to shred the local hills around a town called Skövde. Perfect weather, nice hills and sweet sweeet virgin pavement to slide on… can Freebording get any better? Looks like they had a blast.
