USA Represent Tour ‘09
Wednesday, July 1st, 2009Hey Shred-heads!
The 2009 Represent Tour is hitting the road from July 24th to August 3rd and we want you to come represent your hood and shred the gnarr!
We have a fully equipped F-350 van with 7 seats – stuffed full of boards and a ramp just waiting to shuttle up some hills! The 5 stops will be in this order: Utah, Colorado, Mt. Hood, Washington, Portland and Cali – check the schedule below for details.
- July 25th 2009: Salt Lake City, Utah - Meet at the U of U parking lot (Rice-Eccles Stadium) at 11am. Ride “The U” parking lot and campus till warm then head off to Squaw Peak Rd. and other classics the locals have to share. Ride around until dinner time at “The Pie”. Map
- July 25th 2009: Chattanooga, Tennessee – Local skate shop The Grapevine will be hosting a ride at their store in Chattanooga. Meet in the parking lot at 10am, then go searching for some Appalachian cheddar. Map
- July 27th 2009: Boulder, Colorado – Meet at the corner of Flagstaff Rd. and Flagstaff Dr. at 11am. We will ride the whole thing, link is to the halfway point, so get ready for a leg burner! Possible stop at the Coors brewery for mid day refreshments. This is my favorite hill in the continental US so I highly suggest driving any amount of miles to hit it! Map
- July 30-31st 2009: Mt. Hood, OR – Meet at the bottom of Timberline Hwy and Route 26 in Government Camp at Noon. We’ll be seshing Timberline several times and showing off for all the Windell’s kids on their way down from camp. Pro snowboarders and other friends of Freebord likely to make an appearance! Map
- August 1st 2009: Mukilteo, Washington – Meet up at St. Andrews Dr. at 11am. We will be hitting that and all the other classics from last year. Hopefully all the locals from last year’s tour will make it. They were some shredders, like 10 of them! Map
- August 2nd 2009: Portland, Oregon – Meet at the top of 3998 SW Fairview Blvd/Washington Park/The Zoo at 11am. We will ride downtown for a bit then head out to the coast or other areas the locals can suggest. Map
- August 8th 2009: Santa Rosa, California – We will be meeting at the intersection of Crown Hill Dr. and Parker Hill Rd. at 1:00pm. Baldwin Way and Los Alamos Rd. will be seshed as well. We are counting on the locals and 707-Crew for this one, should be epic! Map
- August 21-23 2009: Radford, VA – Meet at Justin Oliver’s pad 615 Calhoun st. Radford VA, 24141 and then camp out at the back country cheddah all weekend…(more east coast rides coming soon including MD, NJ and CT)

Bay Area Saturday Summer Rides
Thursday, May 21st, 2009Freebord Saturday Summer Rides- S.S.R. ‘09
The S.S.R is a must do for all Bay Area riders. We will be hitting all the pockets of the Bay shredding the best hills in those areas. Here is the schedule for the rides and where they will be held. All rides begin at 1:00pm and will go until dark or fatigue catch up to us.
- May 30th: Berkeley- We will be meeting at the intersection of Tunnel Rd. and Hiller Dr. at 1:00pm. Claremont, Centennial, and the “secret hill” are all also in the area. Map
- June 27th: Old la Honda- We will be meeting at the intersection of Old la Honda Rd. and Skyline Blvd. at 1:00pm. Kings Mtn. Rd, Starwood, and more will also be on the menu. Map
- July 18th: Walnut Creek- We will be meeting at the intersection of Trotter Way and Bridle Ln. at 1:00pm. There are tons of historic hills out this way including; Michelle Way, Mt. Diablo, El Pintado, Biltmore Dr. One-Way, Martino, and plenty more if your legs can handle it. Map
- August 8th: Santa Rosa- We will be meeting at the intersection of Crown Hill Dr. and Parker Hill Rd. at 1:00pm. Baldwin Way and Los Alamos Rd. will be seshed as well. Map
- September 5th: San Francisco- We will be meeting at the intersection of Lombard St. and Leavenworth St. at 1:00pm. Union, Vallejo, Leavenworth, Rivera, Quintara, De Haro, Wisconsin, Clay, California, and anything in between. Map
The San Francisco S.S.R. will be the final shred and culminate in to a B.B.Q at the factory with food, beverage, and music. You will not want to miss this ride.

Eugene, Oregon Represent
Wednesday, July 9th, 2008John Laudin and Steve Bianco dropped in to Eugene, Oregon and hooked up with team member Steve “The Dogger” Draper and an old friend of Steen’s, Brian. The ride was short and to the point. The Dogger has himself a coffee shop gig he goes to at 5am and usually catches a nap during the time the ride was at, needless to say he was the living dead. It was cool to meet Brian and check out all the mods he’s made to old alpha decks he bought off Steen. Huge thanks to Dogger and his roommate for the roof over our heads in Eugene.
Grants Pass, Oregon Represent
Tuesday, July 8th, 2008John Laudin and Steve Bianco completed the Represent Tour with a ride in Grants Pass, Oregon. We hooked up with Keith, the man in charge of getting “The Dogger” hooked, and Trevor and his crew. The turnout was a solid finish. Good riding to all, even the first-timers, the city of Grants Pass must put something in the water……………………..
Tigard, Oregon Represent
Monday, July 7th, 2008John Laudin and Steve Bianco hit up Tigard, Oregon with the Hernandez gang, locals from the area, and the Washington Suburbanators. There are some killer runs along the Oregon coast along with in town. Props again to Roger for letting us crash, “The Pod” for keeping me awake while editing, and everyone who shredded!
