John Laudin and Bob Glashan hit up Santa Fe and hooked up with some family friends of John’s and got their son Henry and friends Lucas and Rahj cruising the local hill. Big thanks to the Lanman’s for letting us shack up and get a home cooked meal or two!

Santa Fe, New Mexico Represent
Saturday, May 31st, 2008Rate this on the sob-scale
Saturday, May 31st, 2008Read the letter below and rate it from 1 to 5 on the sob-scale:
1. Anyone who buys a Ripstik doesn’t deserve to live, much less ride a Freebord
2. Boo hoo – would you like some cheese with that whine?
3. Sell your Ripstik on eBay and cut your losses
4. Tough break but I’ve heard way worse
5. Give this guy a Freebord just to shut him up!

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008Koanalu surf shop in Albuquerque New Mexico hosted a ride and the Represent Tour stopped in. The shop had a pretty good turn out and went to some pretty good hills. Some people already had bords and knew how to ride and some didnt so we got them riding by the end of the day. Big shout out to Minh for showing us around.

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008Brian Kozul and friends hosted another Freebord Represent stop over the weekend in Stuttgart Killesberg, Germany. Freeborders and longboarders met up at Höhen Park to ride and chill – Danyo, Mäx, Killian, Chrisi, Tomsch, Alex, Aveal, Jonas, Simon, Flo, Christoph, Pollemann, Lukas and Katana (Brian) all came out to represent. Later on everyone drove to the Freebord Ranch in Eberdingen for a barbecue and some sweet night runs in Hochdorf.
Check out some pics of the fun below. Thanks Brian!

The article, for those of us that don’t read French, talks about the Freebord ride, its growth as a sport, and the Represent Tour in Europe and the US.

Scottsdale and Fountain Hills Represent
Monday, May 26th, 2008John Laudin and Bob Glashan cruised the FB toaster over to Scottsdale with Kevin and met up with Stephen and Nicholas. They showed us sick runs in gated communities we never would have seen! After Scottsdale Kevin took off and the four of us were off to Fountain Hills to meet up with Sam. Sam was a no-show so we drove around and found some even sicker hills!
