  7. byrdo says:

that copyright issue will be gone soon enough.. i read that somewhere

  8. marco-mark-iow says:

    Never gona make that deadline=[

  9. scrub says:

what ive seen youtube do now is include a popup ad to buy the track rather than killing the audio….not sure if thats just certain songs

  10. Cudds says:

“In general, Content ID enables companies, such as music labels, to track unofficial uses of their content, then decide whether to forbid that use (by stripping a video if its music, for example) or monetize it by adding music-purchasing buttons alongside the content.”

So, I imagine if you use a new age pop song, you will be covered since companies most likely will want their newest stuff to be on YouTube. Look forward to my Miley Sirus inspired BSV

we wanted to do youtube so that we can have more great content going through the freebord channel. but i hear what you’re saying about copyrighted stuff.

we won’t ding you if your audio gets pulled from youtube. if you’re using a well known band, my advice is to upload it to a second place (vimeo or dailymotion, etc.) just in case. you can send us both links and we’ll use the other as a backup.
